The PandaDoc alternative for freelancers who keep more than they send.
PandaDoc is built around the documents you send out: proposals, quotes and contracts, with a content library, pricing tables and CRM sync behind them. For a freelancer or a small team, that is a lot of sales machinery around a job that is mostly "send the contract, then keep it." Stoatify sends the contract for tamper-evident e-signature and files the sealed copy into an OCR-searchable vault next to the invoice, the receipts and every other record, at a price a business of one can carry.
A proposal, quote and contract platform for sales teams, priced per seat.
Why people move to Stoatify
Built to be a vault, not a drive.
Sign it, then keep it
The sealed PDF lands back in your vault, versioned next to the draft and tagged by client, in the same place as the invoice and the receipts from that job.
Priced for a business of one
PandaDoc's free plan sends 5 documents a month and charges $3 for each one after that. Stoatify starts free, Pro at $14 / mo removes the send limit, and team seats start at $7.
The whole filing cabinet, not the outbox
Contracts, invoices, receipts, W-9s and tax returns are OCR-searchable together, instead of a repository holding only the documents you happened to send for signature.

The differences that matter
What actually changes day to day.
A vault, not a sent-items folder
PandaDoc's repository holds the documents you pushed out for signature, approval or review. Stoatify holds those and everything that never went anywhere: the invoice you received, the insurance policy, the W-9, the receipt you photographed in a parking lot.
The useful gates sit at $49 a seat
Custom branding, the content library, CRM integrations, approval workflows, payment collection and auto reminders all start on PandaDoc's Business plan at $49 per seat per month billed annually, $65 month to month. Stoatify's equivalents sit at $7 and $15 a seat.
Templates you don't have to ration
PandaDoc caps you at 5 templates on both Free and Starter, so a second contract type costs a plan upgrade. Stoatify does not meter templates: build one per client or one per kind of agreement and keep them all.
Automation without an enterprise contract
Webhooks are Enterprise-only on PandaDoc and the API is an optional add-on on top of that. Stoatify includes the REST API, webhooks and an MCP endpoint for AI assistants from Pro at $14 / mo and Team at $15 a seat.
In fairness
When PandaDoc is the better choice.
If your documents are the sales motion, PandaDoc is built for exactly that and Stoatify is not: pricing tables, a product catalog and CPQ for quotes, a content library with smart content, deal rooms, redlining and approval workflows, Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive sync, recipient analytics showing which page a prospect lingered on, payment collection inside the document, in-person signing, knowledge-based authentication and ID verification, qualified electronic signatures in the EU, and notary. Stoatify builds no proposals. It is the better pick when the contract is a means to an end and the real job is keeping every document a person or a business accumulates, signed, searchable, shareable and versioned, on a plan a solo pro or a small team can carry.
FAQ
Switching from PandaDoc.
Is Stoatify a real PandaDoc alternative?+
For the signing half of PandaDoc, yes. Stoatify has a drag-and-drop template builder with 14 field types, configurable multi-party signing order, a no-account guided signing flow for your client, cryptographic PAdES/PKCS #7 sealing with RFC 3161 time evidence, a verification tool and a completion certificate. It does not build proposals: there are no pricing tables, product catalog or CPQ. What it adds instead is the vault the signed copy lands in, alongside every other document you keep.
How much does PandaDoc cost?+
Its free plan sends 5 documents a month and additional documents cost $3 each. Starter is $19 a month billed annually, or $35 month to month. Business, where custom branding, the content library, CRM integrations, approval workflows and payments begin, is $49 per seat per month billed annually, or $65 month to month. Enterprise is per seat or per document. Those figures are PandaDoc's own published pricing.
Can Stoatify build sales proposals like PandaDoc?+
No, and it would be dishonest to imply otherwise. Stoatify has no content library, pricing table, product catalog or CPQ. If a proposal assembled from reusable blocks and pushed into a CRM is your daily work, PandaDoc does that far better. Stoatify is for the documents around the deal rather than the pitch itself.
Do my clients need an account to sign?+
No, and they don't with PandaDoc either. Your client opens a link, signs in any browser on any device, and never installs anything or creates a login.
Doesn't PandaDoc already search inside documents?+
It does. PandaDoc says it indexes files with OCR so the archive stays searchable by phrase, title and user, and that is a genuine strength. The difference is what ends up in the index: Stoatify OCRs everything you file, received documents included, and pairs it with categories, tags, saved views and date filters built for pulling one record out of thousands.
Can I bring my finished PandaDoc documents over?+
Yes. Download the completed PDFs from PandaDoc and drag them into Stoatify, where they are OCR'd, categorized and searchable as they arrive, next to the new ones you send from here.
